What is a skin peel?

A skin peel involves the use of a chemical agent to remove the outer layers of the skin and promote cell regeneration, resulting in a rejuvenated and glowing complexion.

Skin peels are perfect for rejuvenating and revitalising tired, dull, and lacklustre skin. They may also be used for treating acne, UV damage, pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, and scarring.

How does it work?

Skin peels remove impaired outermost skin layers to expose smoother, more youthful-looking skin below.

We use glycolic acid, trichloroacetic acid (TCA), salicylic acid, mandelic acid, and lactic acid for skin peels, based on the peel’s depth.

How is the treatment delivered?

After a thorough consultation, the appropriate peel will be selected based on the type of skin and concerns.

The skin is cleansed and primed prior to the application of the peel. The peeling agent will be left on the skin for up to 15 minutes, depending on the type of peel employed, before being rinsed off. Afterward, the skin is moisturised and shielded with a wide-spectrum sunscreen.
