What is Fractional Radiofrequency Microneedling treatment?

Fractional Radiofrequency Microneedling FRM treatment is a low-impact therapy designed to reduce the visibility of various skin concerns, such as wrinkles, scars, acne scarring, loose skin, and stretch marks. This therapy is suitable for people with various skin types and complexions .

Fractional radiofrequency is a medical procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to treat various conditions. The FRM device generates radiofrequency waves that cause oscillations in polar molecules. The vibrations are then transformed into thermal energy, leading to the formation of accurately controlled thermal zones.

The integration of radiofrequency energy with the microneedling method has been seen to promote the body’s natural collagen production and regeneration mechanisms, leading to improved skin firmness and a revitalised appearance across a range of skin colours. The therapeutic procedure entails employing a set of sterilised little needles to generate minuscule incisions inside the dermis at varying depths while ensuring the epidermis stays unharmed.

The energy that is provided in a fractional manner results in the formation of distinct regions of damaged skin that are located next to sections of unaffected skin. The regions that have been treated exhibit heat damage in the deep dermal collagen, leading to the stimulation of wound healing, dermal remodelling, and the creation of new collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid.

The interstitial regions situated amidst afflicted areas initially preserve the integrity of the skin. However, over an extended period, these regions function as a reservoir of cells that facilitate and expedite the healing process of the wound. Moreover, the FRM gadget utilised generates mechanical wounds by microneedles and thermal injury via radiofrequency.

Thus, it is suggested that using FRM can viably generate the appropriate form of harm to promote hair regrowth.

The optimal frequency is one session per month for a total of 1 to 6 sessions.
