What is Eye Rejuvenation?

The periorbital area, which refers to the region around the eyes, is among the first areas to show signs of ageing.

Hereditary factors and prolonged exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation are the main determinants of this. Periorbital ageing is primarily characterised by the presence of wrinkles around the eyes, sagging of the top eyelids, and the buildup of pigmentation. These effects can have a detrimental impact on both the visual appearance and mental well-being of patients. Fortunately, there are several treatment options available to address these concerns.

Dark circles under the eyes indicate a darker appearance of the skin under the eyes. The appearance of this region may vary, exhibiting hues such as blue, purple, brown, or black, contingent upon your inherent skin pigmentation. Periorbital hyperpigmentation can give someone a fatigued or aged appearance.

As individuals get older, the skin below the eyes starts to sag and become thinner, causing the blood vessels beneath the skin to become more apparent. This might cause the under-eye area to seem darker. Tear troughs, which are concave regions, may also form. Tear troughs create shadows that enhance the visibility of swollen eyes.

Various treatments

  • Pigmentation
  • Volume loss

These include bioactive filler injections, bioactive PRF and PRP interventions, polynucleotide injections, eye corrector treatment gel, skin booster injection, mesotherapy glutathione injections.
